Traditional Kitchen Remodel with 2 Islands

Wood tones are making a comeback, and you can see why in this traditional kitchen remodel by Curtis Lumber. Wood kitchens are instantly warm and inviting. To expand the original small kitchen into the family gathering place the homeowner desired, the dining room was removed, allowing for ample space to feature 2 islands with very different functions. A smaller working island by the cooktop gives the cook a dedicated prep zone while the seating island allows guests to gather, visit and still be part of the action.

The countertops are Cambria quartz in 2 different colorways to distinguish the different zones. The main part of the kitchen and the working island are in Halewood. The seating island is in Laneshaw.

Halewood features abundant swirls and charcoal gray veins that animate the wheat-toned design. Beige and white accents provide a subtle softness. A crystallized feel adds pleasing depth and dimension.

Laneshaw is rich in earthy hues of rich browns, warm tans, and deep blacks creating a canvas of captivating contrasts. A grand statement is made complete with hints of white and a veil of gold glimmer adding to the sophisticated charm.
