Curtis Lumber Co., Inc. offers diverse benefits packages that are available to newly hired employees after the successful completion of 30 days. Benefits are offered to employees who are hired to work 30 hours or more per week and are payroll deducted weekly.

Specified Disease

A cash benefit for a range of covered serious illness including: cancer, stroke, heart attack. Rates vary depending on age and coverage type.

Life Insurance

Available for employees, spouse and children in $10,000 increments.

Curtis Lumber provides a $25,000 Life Insurance policy at no cost to the employee.

Uniforms and Safety Shoes

Not all employee positions are required to wear uniforms at Curtis Lumber. However, if you are hired as an operations employee, you will receive your uniform at orientation. No matter what position you are in, if PPE is required, you’ll receive that at orientation as well. Uniforms are distributed to sales employees after 30 days of employment.

Safety shoe reimbursement is 50% immediately, and up to 100% (some limits apply).

This identity theft protection program monitors credit reports, social media, transaction records, public records, and more.

Accident

Cash benefit for covered injuries, treatment & services.

Short/Long Term Disability

This plan coordinates with state disability to pay 60% of salary if out of work due to illness, injury, or medical condition. Rates vary depending on age and coverage amount.

Employee Discount

Employees receive 10% off retail items, and 10% above cost for non-stock inventory purchases.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Curtis Lumber’s Employee Assistance Program offers services to promote well-being and enhance the quality of life for you and your family.
