We have 12 Professional NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath
Association) designers on staff to assist you with your
ideas, measurements and plans. You can make an appointment
to personally meet with one of these designers to help
make your dream kitchen or bath become a reality. Curtis
Lumber offers over 15 cabinet manufacturers from basic
builder brands to semi-custom and full custom kitchens.
Our designers use an advanced computer design system that
can print you out a layout of your new kitchen or bath.
You may take and review the layout with your builder and
make any modifications you wish.
Curtis Lumber also has the ability to do computerized deck
design and estimates. Our professional deck designers will
print a drawing of your deck, explain material options,
and finish it off with stairs, railings and balusters to
fit your taste and budget.

beautiful cabinetry, whirlpools, showers, tubs and
toilets, hardwood flooring and staircases, windows and

Our knowledgeable salespeople are ready to assist you
in-person, on the phone or online. We have many
specialists in our stores that have been through extensive
national accreditation programs so their professionalism
can add value to your investments by applying their
experience and expertise to all your project needs.
CBMS (Certified Building Material Specialists)
The CBMS program is the only national accreditation
program of its kind for the building material industry.
Candidates must possess a strong commitment to the
building material industry and be willing to invest their
time and energy towards learning, growth, and professional
development. Participants must also believe in the concept
of customer service excellence. The program combines a
unique mix of comprehensive product and sales training
with hands-on industry experience to produce a true
building materials professional.
NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) Designers
The NKBA has led the kitchen and bath industry for over
forty years by providing resources for consumers and
industry professionals. The NKBA University and the
professional development courses raise the bar for kitchen
and bath professionals. The NKBA grants certifications in
design based on written examinations and extensive
industry experience.
Andersen Circle of Excellence Dealer
Our participation in the Andersen Circle of Excellence
program is an exclusive program equipping us to build and
maintain enduring relationships with our customers. Our
sales people are given individualized training on all
Andersen products and services. Our training allows us to
provide quick order and delivery services as well as using
Andersen Intelligent Quote (IQ) software, an electronic
quote and order tool that allows Curtis Lumber to
electronically configure, quote and transmit your orders
for Andersen products.
Certified TJ-Xpert Dealer
We use TJI Expert a state of the art computer software
program to develop free in-house take-offs and floor
plans. TJ-Xpert with its precise plots and accurate
material lists, minimizes material waste, job time and
money.

Delivery...Fast and Accurate! We have many years of
experience in servicing home owners in selecting and
handling materials you need to get your job done right. We
take the time to pick your order and utilize our delivery
vehicles so you don’t have to take time away from your
busy day. No one likes to wait long for something he or
she has ordered. That’s why Curtis has raised delivery

We are proud of our delivery fleet of over 100 trucks
including: 74 flatbeds/vans, 10 tractor trailers and specialized
truss trailers, 11 boom trucks, 3 ladder trucks and 16 truck mountable
forklifts.
Curtis Lumber is the only building material retailer in
the nation to be recognized for our achievements with
safety programs. Our drivers undergo rigorous training on
the safe and proper operations of their vehicles. They are
trained to identify delivery site conditions that may pose
a potential safety risk to themselves, their delivery
vehicle, our customer and customer’s property. Our drivers
will opt not to use your driveway or lawn if they know
damage will result.

Special Order resources. To make sure we have what you
need, when you need it, we maintain one of the largest
inventories in New York State that is continually
replenished by trucks and freight cars. Curtis not only

deepest, with more sizes, colors and types than anyone
