Throughout the years Curtis developed a thorough understating of the needs of contractors and other professionals. Our contractor sales staff, for example, is prepared to expedite your orders and to arrange deliveries where and when you need them. We have many years of experience with our contractors/builders in selecting and handling materials you need to get your job done right. We take the time to pick your order and utilize our delivery vehicles so you don’t have to take time away from your busy day. No one likes to wait long for something he or she has ordered. That’s why Curtis has raised delivery service to a fine art. We are proud of our delivery fleet of over 100 trucks including: 74 flatbeds/vans, 10 tractor trailers and specialized truss trailers, 11 boom trucks, 3 ladder trucks and 16 truck mountable forklifts.

Curtis Lumber is the only building material retailer in the nation to be recognized for our achievements with safety programs. Our drivers undergo rigorous training on the safe and proper operations of their vehicles. They are trained to identify delivery site conditions that may pose a potential safety risk to themselves, their delivery vehicle, your customer and customer’s property. Blueprint Quotes and Estimates
We are experts at estimating and we’ll be happy to quote from your blueprints or drawings. When you need an estimate on a house or a major renovation project, you’ll get it fast and accurately via our expert take-off service. That means of course, that you will be able to give your customer a precise quote without delay.

Curtis Lumber is famous for finding hard to find specialty items for your customers. Special orders are an important part of the Curtis tradition of service. We currently stock 20,000 items and we have access to 100 times more product via our special order department! Our specialists are here to assist you in finding just what you need. We can help you find custom and hard-to-find door and window sizes and accessories, non-stock designer color options on siding, metal roofing, and asphalt roofing shingles, roof trusses and floor trusses, kitchen/bath cabinets and custom countertops, sinks, tubs, showers toilets, faucets as well as decorative hardware. Annual Builders Appreciation Expo
Each year Curtis Lumber invites all our valued contractors/builders to participate in our annual builders expo held at the Saratoga Springs City Center, in beautiful and historic Saratoga Springs, NY. Our expo features 100 booths represented by 70 manufacturers and includes door prizes and a huge buffet-style dinner!

Product Knowledge Seminars
FREE seminars are available to our builders! These seminars feature guest speakers and discuss new products, updates and answer any questions our builders may have. We also offer free OSHA code update clinics.
